Ettringen: SP
This weekend is going to Ettringen in Germany. For crack lovers the area to go to! The area is a former quarry at the base of an old volcano where there are over 1500 routes. The rock you climb on is basalt which means that there are many crevasses, cuts, edges and corners and only limited "normal" holds. On top of that, you will have to fuse some of the routes yourself. Dit weekend gaat naar Ettringen in Duitsland. Voor de crack liefhebbers het gebied om naar toe te gaan! Het gebied is een voormalige steengroeve aan de voet van een oude vulkaan waar ruim 1500 routes te vinden zijn. De rots waarop je klimt is basalt en dat betekent dat er veel spleten, versnijdingen, kanten en hoeken zijn en maar beperkt ‘normale’ grepen.
