Dave/Yvoir: MP training
Dave: The climbing area Dave, actually called les Rochers du Néviaux, is one of the classic Belgian climbing areas. Since the 1930s, this climbing massif with its characteristic "Swiss cheese" rock has been very popular. Dave is particularly beloved for multi-pitch routes on steep rock with good holds. Features: - Number of routes/maximum length: 150/75m. - Climbing style/steepness: slab 70-100°. - Route grades: 3-7c, with the focus from 3 to 6b. - Rock type: dolomite. - Exposure: mainly southwest. - Best season: all year round. Yvoir: Le Paradou is one of the largest and most popular climbing areas in Belgium. At Le Paradou, also known as Yvoir after the town of the same name, you mainly find inclined routes in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. Features: - Number of routes/maximum length: 160/55m. - Climbing style/steepness: slab/edges 60-75°. - Route grades: 3-7b, with the focus between 4 and 6b. - Rock type: limestone. - Exposure: mainly southwest. - Best season: all year round.

Al sinds de jaren '30 is dit klimmassief met z'n typerende 'gatenkaas'-rots erg populair. Dave is met name een geliefd doel om multi-pitch routes in steile rots met goede grepen te klimmen.
