Our introduction weekend is the best way to get an impression of the NijSAC and sport climbing. It is organized three times a year. During the day, we do a lot of climbing and in the evening we have dinner together, so you can (literally ;) ) taste the atmosphere of the NijSAC.
On Friday evening we will go by bus to a beautiful climbing area in France or Germany. Upon arrival at the campsite, we set up the tents and get to know each other over a beer, wine or just a drink. As soon as you start to get tired, you can dive into the tent so that you can get up refreshed the next morning.
On Saturday morning we have breakfast with the traditional NijSAC egg. Next, we gather our climbing gear and lunch and leave for the first climbing area. Once there, you will receive the necessary instruction and we will climb in small groups. When compiling the groups, we look at any previous climbing experience and can thus respond to everyone's level of climbing.
When everyone is tired and satisfied from the climb, we drive back to the campsite and we will prepare dinner together. After the dinner, it is time for a campfire that everyone can enjoy as long as they want. And if you fancy a lovely, well-deserved hot shower after such a climbing day, this is of course also possible!
On Sunday after breakfast it is time to clear all the tents again, after which we start climbing again, but now in a different climbing area with completely different rock. The enthusiasts can also abseil on this day! Around 16:00 we pack our belongings and travel back to the Netherlands. On the way we will make a stop for dinner.
The costs for this are € 80, - including food, drinks, transport, climbing equipment, climbing insurance and instruction. This amount must be transferred to the NijSAC account no later than 10 days in advance. Only dinner on Sunday evening is for your own account.
